Mr. Goodrich - Stated that it is a public street and the only thing that would <br />address Mr. Rautio's ooncerns is the weight restrictions on oommercial trucks <br />traversing residential streets. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman - Suggested Mr. Rautio oontact the Police Department regarding <br />his ooncerns. <br /> <br />Sandra Rautio - Stated that if there is an expansion of the airport that will <br />require some road realignment, there will be even more heavy equil~nent using <br />the area streets; sealcoating should be delayed until a decision is made on <br />the airport issue. Inquired if the open land across the street is being <br />assessed. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg - Replied that the land across the street is not being assessed <br />because it is zoned Industrial but the c~ner cannot develop it as industrial <br />because the road is restricted to 5 tons. <br /> <br />Mr. Rautio - Inquired if County Road #116 is realigned along his property, can <br />he install a culvert and access onto #116. <br /> <br />Mr. Koshak- Replied that if and when Cty. Rd. #116 is realigned, Mr. Rautio <br />would have to apply to the County for driveway access. <br /> <br />Sandra Rautio - Inquired if she would be assessed for improvenents to Cty. Rd. <br />#116 if it has to be realigned for airport purposes. <br /> <br />Mr. Koshak - Replied that the County funds would be used for #116. <br /> <br />Sandra Rautio - Noted that the c~ners of industrial zoned land across the <br />street are not being assessed for street improv~nents and inquired if those <br />property owners will ever be granted accesses onto that street. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman - Stated that what he is hearing tonight is 'no'. <br /> <br />Motion by Counciolmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember COx to adjourn <br />this public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Schlueter.
