PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA OOUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, April 9, 1985 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />regarding Sea/coating Improv~ent Project #85-12, Sorteberg's First Addition. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilm~ber A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilm~mber Arnie Cox <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City A~inistrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Director of Technical Services Clayton Berg <br />Larry Koshak of Hakanson/Anderson Engineering <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the public hearing to order at 9:18 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION BY ENGINEER <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Koshak gave a slide presentation of Sea/coating Improvement Project <br />#85-12 showing affected area and estimated total and per unit costs. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Sheila Zelazny - 7904 159th Lane - Inquired if the number of units to be <br />assessed is based on the number of driveways onto the road; questioned if one <br />particular ~arcel, with a lot of heavy equipment parked on it, is going to be <br />assessed. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg - Replied that the parcel in question is owned by Mr. Al Sorteberg; <br />Mr. Sorteberg is not being for this project because his property fronts on <br />Variolite Street and the parcel in question is not a buildable lot because it <br />has not been subdivided. <br /> <br />Sheila Zelazny - Stated that one parcel has a driveway onto Xenolith and <br />inquired if that property should receive an assessment. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg - Replied that this particular property fronts on 161st and will be <br />included in that projects sealcoating assessments. <br /> <br />Sheila Zelazny - Inquired if a petition should contain one or both signatures <br />from each household. <br /> <br />April 9, 1985 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
