City Attorney Goodrich recommended scme changes in wording of the resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #85-82 establishing a policy for implementing the rural residential <br />density standard set forth in the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan. Further, that <br />the following adjustments be made to the proposed resolution: (Please refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution 985-82). <br /> <br />Itam 2, Page 2, 2nd Sentence - Should read as follcws: 'As each <br />plat is recorded with the County recorder, that plat will be <br />deducted from average acreage available for development in the <br />Rural Area and this number shall become the new number for gross <br />acres subject to development in the Rural Area and shall serve as <br />the basis for interpretation of the density requir~ent. <br /> <br />Item 1.a, Page 1, 1st Sentence - Should read as follows: 'All <br />planned unit developments and/or developments over 40 acres shall <br />be developed ' <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sort.berg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />~ase #8: Items Not Finished From March 26. 1985 Council Agenda: <br /> <br />E. Setting Minimum Standards And Assessment Procedures For Urban And Rural <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Mayor Heitman to table this case <br />until the April 23, 1985 Council meeting· <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that plywood has been donated for backstops at <br />Titterud Park and the Streets Department is too busy to construct the <br />backstops; Carol Sather has indicated that she has a volunteer crew ready to <br />construct the backstops if the Streets Department could deliver the materials <br />and supervise the construction. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that he would have Streets Superintendent Mevisson contact <br />Mrs. Carol Sather regarding the backstops at Titterud Park. <br /> <br />Councilmamber Cox stated that there is a vacant home on Peridot Street, <br />directly west of the Tom Thumb, to which a considerable amount of vandalism <br />has been done and the neighborhood residents are concerned for the safety of <br />their children· The citizens would like to see the City take action to have <br />the house boarded up. <br /> <br />Mr. Darryl Fults was present and stated that after the home went into <br />bankruptcy proceedings, boarding up the house was offered to the c~ner and he <br />refused. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that this issue was referred to the City Attorney some <br /> April 16, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 6 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
