Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #1.A: Adoption of Assessments for Improvement Projects 86-17, 86-18, and <br /> <br />86-21. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution # 87-209 adopting assessments for the extension of utilities, street <br />and storm sewer for Flintwood Hills 3rd Addition (Improvement Project #86-17). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No. None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteber§ and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Resolution #87-210 adopting assessments for M.S.A.S. improvement of Dysprosium <br />Street N.W. in the plat of Flintwood Hills 3rd Addition (Improvement Project <br />#86-18). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No. None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Resolution #87-208 approving the assessment for the improvement of 153rd Avenue <br />N.W. between Rhinestone Street N.W. to Ramsey Blvd. N.W. (County State Aid <br />Highway #56) (Improvement Project #86-21). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pedrson. Voting No. None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Reqqest for Prelimiminary Plat Approval of Ford Brook Estates 3rd <br /> <br />Addition; Case of Mr. Gerald Bauer. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Gerald Bauer is requesting preliminary plat approval <br />of his proposed subdivision located north of County Road #7 and east of the <br />existing Ford Brook Estates subdivision. The Planning and Zoning Commission has <br />recommended approval of this request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the <br />request for preliminary plat approval of Ford Brook Estates 3rd Addition; case <br />of Mr. Gerald Bauer based on the Planning and Zoning Commissions recommendation, <br />contingent upon review and approval of the preliminary plat by Burns Township. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2.A Discussion of Proposed Puma Street Closing <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the City Council authorized him to talk with Burlington <br />Northern Railroad representatives and suggest to them the option of closing Puma <br />Street to its connection at 153rd. The position of the Burlington Railroad is <br />that to do so would not limit the access sufficiently and that the City would <br /> <br />City Council/August 25, 1987 <br /> Page 12 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
