Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve Mr. Simon's request to move in an accessory structure with the <br />following terms added to the proposed development permit: <br /> <br />The accessory structure shall be improved with a gable roof of <br />split cedar shingles. <br /> <br />That the accessory structure shall remain on the moving gear until <br />until such time as construction of the principal structure has <br />reached the mid-way point. <br /> <br />6. That no commercial activity shall take place out of the accessory <br /> structure. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />C~se #3: Request For Site Plan Review; Case Of Mr. John Belinski For <br /> Waltek: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Waltek is requesting approval of a site plan for a <br />40' x 40' addition on the southeast corner of the existing building at <br />14310 Sunfish Lake Blvd. On November 3, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />recommended approval on the condition that no future additions would be <br />approved until appropriate topography and grading plans are provided. <br />Waltek will also be requesting another larger addition in the near future <br />and Planning and Zoning recommends extending the surfacing of off-street <br />parking requirement to June 30, 1989 so as not to cause duplication of <br />efforts and cost. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve <br />Waltek's request for site plan review based on recommendations of the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request For Conditional US~ P~rmit To Construct And Operate A <br /> SelfrService Storage Facility In The B-1 Business Distrig~ And <br /> Request For Site Plan Review; Case Of Mr. W$11i~m Dubats; <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Dubats is requesting approval of a conditional <br />use permit and site plan to construct and operate another self-service <br />storage facility north of the existing facility on Ebony Street. The <br />Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the request on November 3 and 10 <br />and recommended approval of the conditional use permit and the site plan. <br />Ms. Norris noted that the existing access on Ebony Street will be closed <br />and the existing and new facility will be accessed from 138th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Dubats inquired as to how much the city is willing to pay for the <br />additional 7 foot of right-of-way being requested for future upgrading of <br /> City Council/November 10, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 5 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
