1) Consider Resolution Amending the Policy for Appointing Board and Commission <br /> Members <br />The Personnel Committee recommended amending the Policy for Appointing 'Board and <br />Commission members so that an existing member would submit a letter requesting that they be <br />reappointed. The Council would either accept or reject the member's request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Resolution <br />#03-12-323 amending the Policy for Appointing Board and Commission Members. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Pearson, Kurak, Cook, Elvig, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Consider Resolution Reappointing EDA Member <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that John Letourneau be re-appointed to the EDA for a <br />four-year term expiring December 3 I, 2007. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #03- <br />12-324 reappointing John LeTourneau to the EDA. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Elvig, Cook, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Consider Appointment to the Environmental Policy Task Force <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that Greg Bauer be appointed to the Environmental <br />Policy Task Force and that Michael Rolfe be appointed as an alternate. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to Adopt Resolution <br />#03-12-325 appointing Greg Bauer to the EPTF. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councihnembers Kurak, Pearson, Cook, Elvig, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />4) Consider Appointment to Park and Recreation Commission <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that James Pontius be appointed to the Park and <br />Recreation Commission for a partial term that would expire December 31, 2005 and that Doug <br />Staricha be appointed as an alternate. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #03- <br />12-326 appointing James Pontius to the Park and Recreation Commission for a partial term that <br />would expire December 31, 2005. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Elvig, Cook, Pearson, <br />Strorm~nen, and Zimmerman.
