Absent: CouncilmemberCox. <br /> <br />Case ~4: Bar~hel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition:_ <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich explained that in 1979, the City and Barthel Homes entered <br />into an agreement relating to certain unbuildable lots in Barthel's Rum <br />River Acres 2nd Addition. City Staff is recommending that a more efficient <br />method for determining when and how those certain lots are buildable, other <br />than what is established in that 1979 agreement, would be to place that <br />authority with the City Engineer, City Building Inspector and City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />authorize the City's Building Inspector, City Engineer and City <br />Administrator to approve building permit requests on behalf of the City <br />Council for the following described property to-wit: <br /> <br />Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block 6; <br />Lot 3, Block 7; <br />Lot 3, Block 8; <br />Lot 1, Block 9; all in Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition <br /> <br />and that no building permit may be issued unless the above named three City <br />representatives are satisfied that the respective lot does contain a <br />buildable site in accordance with current City standards and that the City <br />AdministratOr on behalf of the City Council is directed to execute any <br />documentation necessary in order for the City to comply with the terms of <br />the October 12, 1979, agreement between the City and Barthel Homes, Inc. <br />City Coucocil/May 10, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 6 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
