Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: A~rove Pro~ect Costs And Set Date For Assessment Hcarin~ ~ ~ .,--~ <br /> For Sealc~atin~ Improvement Pro~ect$ ~88-4, ~88-5, ~8826, p~"l~f~ <br /> #88-7 and #88-~: - - ~Iz~~]~,~ ~*~ <br />Motion by uounciime, mber Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmembe~DeLuca to <br />adopt Resolution # s 88-1~Z, 88-1~, 88-1~, 88-1//~ and 88-1~ approving <br />project costs for Improvement Projects #88-4, 88-5, 88-6, 88-7 and 88-8 and <br />setting the assessment hearings for 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 1988 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center. (Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolutions ~88-1/~ through 88-1~ ). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Receive Bids And Award Contract For Titterud Tennis Court <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that in addition to the cost of the contract for tennis <br />court lighting, there is an $850 fee to be paid to Anoka Electric <br />Cooperative for installation of transformers. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution f~88-15% receiving bids and awarding contract to Lehn <br />Electric for tennis court lighting at Titterud Park Project #88-18. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #88-1~). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />C~se #5.A: C~ntral Park Buildings: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that the plans and specs for the Park Center did not <br />include a utility sink which would be a necessary item if the Council <br />intends to contract out for building maintenance; the sinks are $350/each <br />and $100/each for plumbing. Mr. Hartley stated that park facilities are <br />subject to a considerable amount of vandalism; Council may wish to consider <br />the addition of a security system. Mr. Hartley stated that there are no <br />plans for flooring, other than the concrete, in the park center building; <br />the acoustics are such that the building would be very noisy. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />install utility sinks and necessary plumbing at the Central Park warming <br />house and park center. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
