Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Receive Bids And Award Contract For Titterud Tennis Court <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that in addition to the cost of the contract for tennis <br />court lighting, there is an $850 fee to be paid to Anoka Electric <br />Cooperative for installation of transformers. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution f~88-15% receiving bids and awarding contract to Lehn <br />Electric for tennis court lighting at Titterud Park Project #88-18. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #88-1~). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />C~se #5.A: C~ntral Park Buildings: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that the plans and specs for the Park Center did not <br />include a utility sink which would be a necessary item if the Council <br />intends to contract out for building maintenance; the sinks are $350/each <br />and $100/each for plumbing. Mr. Hartley stated that park facilities are <br />subject to a considerable amount of vandalism; Council may wish to consider <br />the addition of a security system. Mr. Hartley stated that there are no <br />plans for flooring, other than the concrete, in the park center building; <br />the acoustics are such that the building would be very noisy. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />install utility sinks and necessary plumbing at the Central Park warming <br />house and park center. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
