Voting No: Councilmember DeLuca. <br /> <br />C~se #2: Request For Minor Subdivision; Case Of Oxbow Poperties - <br /> River's Bend Plaza 3=d Addition: <br /> <br />Oxbow Properties is applying for a minor subdivision to resubdivide Lot 4, <br />BLock I oN River's Bend Plaza Addition to Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 1, <br />River's B~nd Plaza 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion by iCouncilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />adopt Resolution ~88-242 granting final plat approval for River's Bend <br />Plaza 3rd iAddition. <br /> <br />Motion car. tied. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #31 Review ProDosed Posit~QB OB Mississippi River Tra~i~l Corridor: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart presented a map proposing to reflect the positiion of the City <br />Council wi~h regards to the Mississippi River Trail Corridor based on past <br />Council discussions. Mr. Banwart reviewed the information on the map with <br />Council, particularly those areas where existing development places <br />constraintlS on the alignment and extent to which a multi-use trail system <br />can be developed. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson <br />directing City Staff to communicate to Metro Council and the Environmental <br />Quality BOard that Ramsey's position regarding the Mississippi Trail <br />Corridor is as follows: The trail should consist of a 17 foot width <br />beginning at ~he Ramsey/Anoka boundary; then graduate to a 20 foot width at <br />Bulow's Addition; decreasing again to a 17 foot width from east of Dolomite <br />Street N.W~ (east edge of Riverside West Subdivision) to Feldspar and 138th <br />Avenue; then increasing to a 30 foot width again to the east side of the <br />proposed County Park. There are several proposed alignments for the trail <br />system east of the County Park; west of the County Park the alignment would <br />generally ~follow Riverdale Road and run parallel to Hwy. #10, then proceed <br />to the east side of the Wayside Park and on to the Elk River boundary. The <br />width of the trail west of the County Park is proposed to accommodate a 2- <br />tread trail corridor and east of the Park, it will accommodate a 1-tread <br />trail corridor. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />DeLuca, pearson and Bawden. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers $orteberg, <br />Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The Councit recessed at 9:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the meeting back to order at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />City Council/December 27, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 8 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
