Citizen Input <br />James Hirschman, 5859 Alpine Drive NW, explained the requested fencing would improve the <br />screening of his property from the adjacent roadway. He discussed the number of trees that were <br />lost because of the road construction project. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Bauer, VanScoy, Maul, and <br />Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: Brauer. <br />5.04: Public Hearing: Consider a Recommendation on Resolution #14 -10 -205 Approving <br />a Comprehensive Plan Amendment for Low Density Residential at 15153 Nowthen <br />Boulevard NW; Case of the City of Ramsey <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 7:17 p.m. <br />PrPePntatinn <br />Community Development Director Gladhill presented the staff report stating the purpose of this <br />case is to consider a recommendation to the City Council on a resolution to approve a <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the former municipal center located at 15153 Nowthen <br />Boulevard NW. The site is currently being used as Fire Station 92. As the Commission is aware, <br />the City has been exploring future redevelopment options for the former municipal center over <br />the past 12 -18 months, including the formation of a Study Group.
