The use of trailers, trucks or vehicles for long-term storage <br />(long& th~ 1)~onsectifive days) is prohibited. All vehicles and trailers on site must bear a <br />current license, be registered, and must be road worthy. <br /> <br />l-Iazardous Wastes. No hazardous wastes, as defined by the U.S. Environmental <br />Promdfion Agency or Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), shall be burned at the <br />facilitY. No defined hazardous wastes shall be stored or handled at the facility unless the <br />required permits have been obtained from Anoka County Environmental Services and the <br />City has been provided a copy of same. <br /> <br />Ash. All ash from the facility shall be removed from the site on a regular basis, shall not be <br />stockpiled in excess of 35 tons on the property, shall be stored indoors and shall be <br />processed or deposited in an U.S. Environmental Protection Agency approved landfill. <br /> <br />&~lJ~. Permit Holder shall provide the City with a copy of_the written agreement or <br />certification from the designated ash processing and/or disposal facility that said facility is <br />willing to accept the ash. The Permit Holder shall notify the City of any change in ash <br />processing/disposal facilities within 30 days of such change. <br /> <br />Wire ~ocessing. The Permit Holder shall not process wire by melt operations on the Site. <br /> <br />Control of Ooerations. All hauling, processing, separating, disposal and other activities <br />incidental to the aluminum processing operation shall be conducted in conformance with <br />state a;nd federal regulations and in accordance with the applicable requirements of the <br />Performance Standards of the City Code. Operations must be conducted so as to minimize <br />noise, .safety, smoke or other nuisance concerns to adjacent properties. <br /> <br />~. Insects and rodents on the site shall be controlled and exterminated as needed <br />and additional control may be directed by the City Inspector subject to all applicable laws!. <br />rules mad regulations. <br /> <br />],~. Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. shall be responsible for removing <br />debris :gaused by vehicles using the aluminum processing facility. Debris removal activities <br />shall be instituted promptly following information of such accumulation. In the event the <br />Permit Holder fails to remove debris within 24 hours of notice of accumulation by the City, <br />the Cit'y may cause such debris to be removed. The City shall bill the cost of such removal <br />to the Permit Holder and payment shall be remitted within 30 days of the date of such <br />billing. Surface and ground waters originating outside and passing through or <br />adjacent to the Site and runoff water discharged from the Site shall, at its point of departure <br />from the Site, meet all applicable federal and state water quality standards as they exist from <br />time to time during the period of this CUP. The operator shall perform any water treatment <br />necessary to comply with applicable state and federal water quality standards as they exist <br />fron3 time to time during the period of this CUP. Grading and drainage plans shall be <br />submitted to and approved by the City Engineer.
