10. Garbage Container Location.

The garbage container will be located within the fenced area
on west side of building.

11. Description of Construction and Proposed Materials.

The proposed addition will be constructed to match as closely
as possible the current building. The Site Plan lists the specific
materials for the proposed addition.
The screening of Lot 1 was aco°mplished with a berm, a chain
link fence, some trees and shrubs. The permit-holder is willing to
replace that screening with a concrete block wall which will be
painted to match the building. This block wall would provide
complete screening of outdoor operations except for the gate area.
Trees and shrubs could be replanted on the street side of the
proposed wall. (This suggestion for screening has not been included
in the Site Plan.)

12. Effect of Proposal on Traffic in Area°'

This proposed change in operations will not increase traffic
flow to this site. The same amount of material will be flowing
through the site as is currently.

13. Performance Review.

A. No Incident Reports.

Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. has received no notice of any
incident reports since the last CUP was issued.

B. Installation of Afterburners.

'Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. has not yet received
approval from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to install
afterburners on the melt furnaces. Application has been made to
the MPCA and discussions are still continuing.
The proposal before the MPCA now is that an afterburner will
be installed on one furnace. The emissions from that furnace will
then be tested to demonstrate t~at all MPCA criteria are met with
an afterburner.
The bag house wilt continue in place until arrangements can be
made with the MPCA for other pollution control equipment. However,
please note that the bag house will have to be moved to the south
side of the building to accommodate the new addition.

C. Screening.

Additional screening was installed on the gates to the south
yard of Lot t. Those gates are kept closed except when vehicles
are entering or exiting the yard. A yard supervisor has been hired
and is responsible for making sure the gates are closed.

3
