§ 9.10 Perfor~nnce Standards <br /> <br />Engineer prior to application. Such area shall be so graded and drained as to <br />dispose of all surface water accumulation satisfactorily. <br /> <br />All off-street parking spaces shall have access off driveways and not directly off the <br />public street. <br /> <br />A parking space shall not be less than 300 square feet of standing and <br />maneuvering area. When application of these regulations results in a <br />requirement of a fractional space, any fraction up to and including one half shall <br />be disregarded. Fractions over one half shall count as one additional space. <br /> <br />Property that constitutes required off-street parking areas may not be separated, <br />through sale or other means, from the property containing the principal use for <br />which the parking area is required. <br /> <br />There shall be no off-street parking spaces within three feet of any street right-of- <br />way. <br /> <br />Required parking facilities serving two or more uses may be located on the same lot <br />or in the same structure, provided that the total number of parking spaces <br />furnished shall not be less than the sum of separate requirements for each use. <br />The Council may approve the joint use of parking facilities by the following uses or <br />activities under the following conditions: <br /> <br /> a. For the purposes of this section, the following uses are considered <br /> as daytime uses: banks, business offices, or wholesale or similar <br /> USES. <br /> <br /> The following are to be considered as nighttime or Sunday uses: <br /> Auditori~rns incidental to a public or parochial school, churches, <br /> bowling alleys, dance halls, theaters, retail stores, personal <br /> service shops, bars or restaurents. <br /> <br /> c. Up to 50% of the parking facilities required for nighttime uses <br /> may be supplied by the off-street parking facilities provided by <br /> daytime uses and vice versa. <br /> <br /> d. Conditions required for joint use: the proposed joint parking <br /> space is within 500 feet of the use it. will serve~ the applicant shall <br /> show that there is no substantial conflict in the principal <br /> operating hours of the two buildings or uses for which joint use of <br /> off-street parking facilities is proposed~ and <br /> <br />A properly drawn legal instrument, executed by the parties concerned, for joint use <br />of off-street parking facilities, shall be filed with the zoning officer, which shall rum <br />x~dth the land and be recorded ~dth the Court%' ILecorder's office. <br /> <br />No more than one one ton motor vehicle bearing a commercial license and no <br />cornrnerciaI]y licensed ~railer shall be parked or s~ored in a residential district <br />except ~hen loading, unloading or rendering a set,rice.
