She <br />recommended the Council reappoint them this evening. <br /> <br />Mr. John T. GooSe a~dressed the Council regarding his desire to <br />serve on ithe Charter Con~nlsslon. He has lived in the City for more <br />than a year, but has owned real estate in Ramsey for three years. <br />He would illke to play an lntregal part while Ramsey grows ann <br />continues;to offer a high quality of life In the Metropolitan area. <br />He stateO"he has not served on a commission before, but he has <br />obtained ~ copy of the City's Charter, which he considers the <br />"constitution'° of the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Rodne¥ Nelson explained he has lived in Ramsey about one and a <br />half year8 and move~ here with the Intent of giving something to <br />the community. That Is what prompted him to apply for the Charter <br />Commission. He hoped to serve on the commission and provide his <br />input. He has not served on a con~nlssion before. <br /> <br />MOTION byrCouncilmember Peterson, Seconded by Councllmember <br />Beyer, toireappolnt Ms. Barbara Graen and Mr. Bernard Steffen to <br />the Chartbr Commission, and to appoint Mr. Goode at this time and <br />Mr. Nelso~ effective May 12, 1991. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The Council also agreed to advertise for the remaining vacancies on <br />the commiSsiOn in the Ramsey Resident. <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat Approval of Echo Ridge; Case <br />of Gerald Bauer <br /> <br />Ms. Fro]lk eXplained the request of Geral~ Bauer to approve the <br />final p]a~ of Echo Ridge located east of St. Francis Boulevard and <br />177th Avenue NW. The Planning Commission recommends approval of <br />the plat &n~ waiving the requirement for paving l??th within the <br />boundaries of the plat. <br /> <br />Mr. Jank°Wski reviewed the lot ¢onflguratlon of the area which is <br />currently?in ownership by two owners. It consists of three lots, <br />the thlrdi'one being landlocked. He expects the developer to come <br />back wlthi17?th as a street that will be extended to the east at <br />some timeilln the future. The City will be requiring the developer <br />to extend, it at ]east a distance of 266 feet so that the future <br />owners ofilLots 2 and $ can extend that road mutually exclusive of <br />each othe~. Normally the developer would be expected to upgrade <br />the stree~ to a hard surface pavement.
