Councilmember Elvig inquired if it would be against the moratorium if the City were to fome the <br />applicants to do this bituminous. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon responded in the negative and noted the <br />moratorium officially expires tomorrow, February 25, 2004. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Resolution <br />#04-02-056 adopting Findings of Fact #0664 relating to a request for an Interim Use Permit to <br />store and display auto and recreational vehicles on the property, without the required site <br />improvements until June 30, 2004. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Pearson, Elvig, Stromlnen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Abstaining: CouncilmemberKurak. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Request for Preliminary Plat Review of Ramsey Town Center 2"a Addition <br />Case of Ramsey Town Center LLC and D.R. Horton Homes <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon explained Ramsey Town Center LLC and <br />D.R. Horton Homes have submitted a preliminary plat that proposes to subdivide a total of 22.4 <br />acres contained within the Ramsey Town Center Addition plat. While reviewing this preliminary <br />plat he will also be discussing the preliminary site plan, which is covered on the next agenda <br />item. He explained approximately 13.5 acres on this plat will be subdivided as outlots. The <br />remaining 8.9 acres will be platted as residential lots and street right-of-ways. The subject <br />property is north of the platted right-of-way of East Ramsey Parkway and west of Ramsey <br />Boulevard. The preliminary plat shows a total of 103 total housing units (77 row house <br />townhornes and 26 back to back condominium units). <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon reviewed the following aspects of the <br />plan: <br /> <br />Location of open space: <br />Staff suggested that the Developer look at relocating the open space contained in the middle of <br />the western units. It was determined that the original location of the green space was acceptable <br />subject to the provision of some additional green space with the eastern units.
