The City of Ramsey has developed trail <br />stand~rd~ and the proposed trail is consistent with these. <br /> <br />Rams!e~ City Code ORD. 88-11 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION specifies <br />the C~tylas the agent to designate the trail location and the <br />trail~ aS proposed is completely consistent with public <br />guidelines (within the Critical Area Corridor) and the City <br />Code.' ~ <br /> <br />The O~noern for development consistent with MnDOT requirements <br />relat~ngito airport zoning was a very early consideration in <br />the F~yeiplanning process. Some time ago the city adopted an <br />Airp0~t Master Plan for Gateway North Airport and has not <br />adopted !airport zoning. In the event an airport zoning <br />ordin~nce is adopted the airport "A" Zone may call for <br />acqul$1tion of the eastern portion of Block 1 Lot 1 and Block <br />4 Lo~!il ~oth of which are now zoned and will continue to be <br />zonedi B&i Business District. The airport "B" Zone (if <br />adopted)~would include Block 4 Lots 2 through 13. If airport <br />zonin9 i,s adopted these 12 lots would be limited to about <br />three?or four single family units· The plan as proposed can <br />be c0~ve~ted to be consistent with airport zoning regulations <br />in the e~ent airport zoning is adopted. <br /> <br />MZT O OL TA A ZA, MUS <br /> <br />For t~e past couple of years the City and the Metropolitan <br />Council 'have been in the process of expanding the MUSA <br />westerly~to the Anoka County Park and this should be resolved <br />at anl early date. Faye development as proposed would be <br />devel~pe~ in three or four phases commencing with development <br />in th~ ~asterly part of the property which is within the <br />present ~3SA. <br /> <br />Rural Service Area Policies of the Metropolitan Council are <br />under ~co~sideration for amendment and the target for new <br />poli¢~Ies~!~ ~ is summer 1991.
