J. G. "Jerry" Petersen, P.E. <br />Civil Engineer <br /> <br /> Mr. Petersen has been with TKDA since 1968, and is respon- <br />sible for preparation of construction plans and specifications, <br />final engineering reports, contract administration, construction <br />inspection, field layout and topographic surveys. He has been <br />Project Engineer for a wide variety of airport projects, from the <br />design of apron, taxiway, and runway pavement construction to <br />airfield lighting installations. <br /> Recently Mr. Petersen worked on pavement rehabilitation, <br />terminal area roadway signage, and watermain construction at <br />Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. At smaller airports <br />he has been involved with the installation of various NAVAIDS <br />and taxiway construction. <br /> Registered in Minnesota as a Professional Engineer, Mr. <br />Petersen is a member of the American Society of Civil Engi- <br />neers. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the <br />University of Minnesota <br /> <br />Lyle W. Kratzke, P.E. <br />Civil Engineer <br /> <br /> A Civil Engineer at TKDA since 1978, Mr. Kratzke has worked <br />on various airport projects, including general layout, drainage, <br />grading plans, cost estimates, and environmental reports. Spe- <br />cific assignments included a taxiway guidance sign system <br />upgrading study at Minneapolis/St. Paul international Airport~,. <br />design of the new terminallarea at Fergus Falls Municipal Ai~ <br />port, and resident construction engineering at Brainerd-Crov~" <br />Wing County Airport. <br /> Before joining TKDA, Mr. Kratzke was with the Minneapolis <br />Airports District Office of the Federal Aviation Administration <br />where he helped communities develop plans for airport improve- <br />ments in Minnesota and W~sconsin. He was selected as a "Civil <br />Servant of the Year" for the Twin Cities area in 1976. <br /> Mr. Kratzke is a registered Professional Engineer in Minne- <br />sota, and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering <br />from the Unversity of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Gary Christensen, P.E. <br />Civil Engineer <br /> <br /> Mr. Christensen is responsible for all phases of Civil Engineer- <br />ing as related to airport development, including preparation of <br />reports and comprehensive plans, engineering design for pre- <br />liminary plans and final plans, specifications writing, construc- <br />tion inspection, staking and supervision, and contract administra- <br />tion. <br /> A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's <br />Degree in Civil Engineering, Mr. Christensen is a registered Pro- <br />fessional Engineer in Minnesota. He isa member of the American <br />Society of Civil Engineers and the American Water Resources <br />Association. Mr. Christensen has been with TKDA since 1975. <br /> <br /> <br />
