J. G. "Jerry" Petersen, P.E. Civil Engineer Mr. Petersen has been with TKDA since 1968, and is respon- sible for preparation of construction plans and specifications, final engineering reports, contract administration, construction inspection, field layout and topographic surveys. He has been Project Engineer for a wide variety of airport projects, from the design of apron, taxiway, and runway pavement construction to airfield lighting installations. Recently Mr. Petersen worked on pavement rehabilitation, terminal area roadway signage, and watermain construction at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. At smaller airports he has been involved with the installation of various NAVAIDS and taxiway construction. Registered in Minnesota as a Professional Engineer, Mr. Petersen is a member of the American Society of Civil Engi- neers. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota Lyle W. Kratzke, P.E. Civil Engineer A Civil Engineer at TKDA since 1978, Mr. Kratzke has worked on various airport projects, including general layout, drainage, grading plans, cost estimates, and environmental reports. Spe- cific assignments included a taxiway guidance sign system upgrading study at Minneapolis/St. Paul international Airport~,. design of the new terminallarea at Fergus Falls Municipal Ai~ port, and resident construction engineering at Brainerd-Crov~" Wing County Airport. Before joining TKDA, Mr. Kratzke was with the Minneapolis Airports District Office of the Federal Aviation Administration where he helped communities develop plans for airport improve- ments in Minnesota and W~sconsin. He was selected as a "Civil Servant of the Year" for the Twin Cities area in 1976. Mr. Kratzke is a registered Professional Engineer in Minne- sota, and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Unversity of Minnesota. Gary Christensen, P.E. Civil Engineer Mr. Christensen is responsible for all phases of Civil Engineer- ing as related to airport development, including preparation of reports and comprehensive plans, engineering design for pre- liminary plans and final plans, specifications writing, construc- tion inspection, staking and supervision, and contract administra- tion. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mr. Christensen is a registered Pro- fessional Engineer in Minnesota. He isa member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Water Resources Association. Mr. Christensen has been with TKDA since 1975.
