The citizens have only themselves to blame for letting th~.~, s 'issue get as far as it has. If we want to fight this airport, we will all have to attend meetings; it may be too late but we all have to com~it ourselves ko letting the City know whatever we feel about the airport. I think there is a better way to bring economic development to the City rather than with an ai~por~t. If an airport is a beautiful plun, why aren't cities lined up begging for airports. Ramsey's is not an isolated case. Dave Cha~an - 16042 Ramsey Blvd. - I think the members of the Airport Co~missio~ are a good representation of Ramsey's citizens; I believe they have good judgement and I will abide by their recommendation and decision. I have lived in R~sey 15 years and you must realize the progress cannot be stopped. Progress will happen whether you like it or not and that progress might as well be developed by us rather than having Metro Council get involved. I think the airport wo~ld...be of great bermfit to the oo~unity. I came to this decision 4 years ago Whey my company ran an ad for a secretary and a bookkeeper; received 125 calls in response to the ad. Rita Skold - 15410 Marmoset - Neither my husband nor myself want to see this airport go through. We want Ramsey to expand but we think there is a better way than with an airport. There are communities growing without airports. The Commissi°n set a special meeting date of Tuesday, September 3 at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.
