I found out earlier today at City <br />Hall that ~f sewer and water comes, those residents in the safety zone can not <br />subdivide ~he~r one acre lots to offset the cost of sewer and water; how will <br />we be compensated? <br /> <br />C~aiman Ippel - ~e Airport C~m~ission has looked at the issue of subdivision <br />in the saf~ty .. zone. ~ere are ways to provide c~pensation for those residents <br />in the saf.~t~ :zone in the e~ent sewer and water comes to that area. ~e City <br />is looking~at~ ,an airport plan; there are hurdles to cross before it would <br />become a P~ect; this foru~ is to get those concerns out in the open. People <br />from Crystal have approached this (~ission to say that their properties have <br />apprecia~. ~People have said that because of airport and industrial <br />development, their h~e values increased. <br /> <br />Ramona 0'~ ~!1 - Residents in the approach area are not going to benefit. Everything that happens falls back on the <br />City's residents and owners. When Crystal's airport developed, that area was all <br />farmland; development came after the airport. I own and base an airplane at <br />Gateway.
