The city council, at its discretion, may extend <br />for six (6) ~onths the period for filing of the final development plan. <br /> <br /> i. The zoning officer shall send a reproducible print and <br />one (1) other pfint to the chairman of the city planning commission. <br />If the plannfng~conm~ission finds that the final plan is in substantSal <br />compliance wlth~the plan given preliminary approval, it shall endorse <br />the plan and su~mlt it to the city council within thirty (30) days. <br /> <br /> 2.. Aipublic hearing on an application for final approval of <br />the plan or ipar[ thereof shall not be required, provided that the plan <br />is in substantial compliance with the plan given preliminary approval. <br /> <br /> ~.: Ih the event the plan, as submitted for final approval, <br />is not in ~bst~ntial compliance with the preliminary plan, the city <br />council sh~l n~tify the applicant within forty-five (45) days of the <br />date of applic~ton setting forth the ways in which'the plan is not in <br />s,bstantiai Co~pliance. ' <br /> <br /> The applicant may treat such notification as denial <br /> of final approval; or <br /> The applicant ~ay refile his plan so that it does <br /> substantially comply with the preliminary plan; or <br /> The applicant may file a written request with the <br /> city council tha~ it hold a public hearing on his <br /> request for final approval. Any such hearing shall <br /> be held within thirty (30) days after the request <br /> for such a hearing. Within forty-five (45) days <br /> of such hearing, the city council shall either <br /> grant final approval or deny final approval to <br /> the plan. <br /> <br /> 4.
