Absent: Commissioner I--Iendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to add a finding to read <br />"That no opposition was stated at the public hearing held by the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />on September 1, 1992. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, <br />La.Due and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the findings of fact relating to Tom Kurak's request for a conditional use permit for <br />an outside display/sales area at 7665 Highway #10 N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission proceeded to review the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Based upon discussion, amend #2 to read "The subject property shall be permitted.., maximum <br />of twenty-seven (27) vehicles". Also based upon discussion, amend #4 to read "The subject <br />property shall maintain a minimum of three (3) off-street customer parking spaces, one (1) of <br />which should be designated for handicapped and two (2) employee parking spaces." <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to amend #6b to read <br />concrete curbing - not B-612 concrete curbing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioner Deemer, Thorud, Holland, <br />LaDue and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to add a term to read <br />"The Building Inspector will inspect the barn on the subject property". <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Thorud, Holland, <br />La.Due and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Mr. Kurak questioned why the barn would have to be inspected because public will not be allowed <br />in it to which Mr. Schroeder replied that this was for advisory only. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to recommend that City <br />Council approve Mr. Tom Kurak's request for a conditional use permit for an outside display/sales <br />area at 6304 Highway #10 N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Thorud, Holland, <br />La.Due and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen, <br /> <br />Case #3: Request for an Amended Conditional Use Permit; Case of Danny's <br /> Aluminum Processing, Inc.
