Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, Terry and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner I--Iendriksen. Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to add a finding to read "That no opposition was stated at the public hearing held by the Planning and Zoning Commission on September 1, 1992. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, La.Due and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that City Council adopt the findings of fact relating to Tom Kurak's request for a conditional use permit for an outside display/sales area at 7665 Highway #10 N.W. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, Terry and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. The Planning and Zoning Commission proceeded to review the conditional use permit. Based upon discussion, amend #2 to read "The subject property shall be permitted.., maximum of twenty-seven (27) vehicles". Also based upon discussion, amend #4 to read "The subject property shall maintain a minimum of three (3) off-street customer parking spaces, one (1) of which should be designated for handicapped and two (2) employee parking spaces." Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to amend #6b to read concrete curbing - not B-612 concrete curbing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioner Deemer, Thorud, Holland, LaDue and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to add a term to read "The Building Inspector will inspect the barn on the subject property". Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Thorud, Holland, La.Due and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. Mr. Kurak questioned why the barn would have to be inspected because public will not be allowed in it to which Mr. Schroeder replied that this was for advisory only. Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to recommend that City Council approve Mr. Tom Kurak's request for a conditional use permit for an outside display/sales area at 6304 Highway #10 N.W. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Thorud, Holland, La.Due and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen, Case #3: Request for an Amended Conditional Use Permit; Case of Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. (Dan Karst) Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Mr. Karst is requesting an amended conditional use permit to allow for disassembly of engines and transmissions within a building and he also wants to receive other non-hazardous materials.
