The C~ty shall make every effort to design the sewage collection system <br /> to ~acCbmmodate gravity flow to the system from adjacent properties. <br /> H~weger, in instances it may be technically or economically infeasible <br /> to ~roy~de grawty serwce to every structure In such cases, the property <br /> °~nerl shall furnish and install a means of lifting the sewage for <br /> discharge into the sanitary sewer. Such system shall be reviewed and <br /> accepted by the City. The cost of installation, operation and <br /> m~int~enance.:. : of such system shall be the responsibility of the property <br /> owner. <br /> n r6s <br /> 1. tt ;Shall be unlawful for any person to place, deposit or permit to be <br /> deposi!ted in any unsanitary manner upon public or private property <br /> withia the City or in any area under the jurisdiction of said City, any <br /> hurnaB or animal excrement, garbage or other objectionable waste. <br /> <br /> 2. It ~hail be unlawful for any person to discharge into any natural outlet <br /> wi{~hi~ the City or in any area under the jurisdiction of said City any <br /> sanitary sewage, industrial wastes or other polluted waters. <br /> <br /> 3. In iareas serviced by municipal sewer, it shall be unlawful to construct <br /> orlma~ntain any privy vault, septic tank, cesspool or other facility <br /> in~ended or used for the disposal of sewage, except when used in <br /> co.~ne~tion with construction projects or temporary recreation <br /> prbgr~ms. <br /> <br /> 4. Thee o~vner of a dwelling, building and or other structure or property <br /> usSd :fpr human occupancy, employment, recreations, or other purpose, <br /> situated within the City having a public sanitary sewer of the City <br /> available in any street, alley, right-of-way or easement is hereby <br /> required at his expense to install suitable toilet facilities therein, and to <br /> c0r~neCt such facilities directly with the proper public sanitary sewer in <br /> aCaordhnce with the provisions of this ordinance within ninety (90) days <br /> a~r date of official notice to do so. Until such connection, the owners of <br /> stl~ d~eltings, buildings, other structures or properties not provided <br /> wi~h Ig~blic or municipal sanitary sewer facilities shall comply with all <br /> ordinances and regulations applying to individual sewage disposal <br /> sYster~s and their use. <br /> <br /> 5.
