streets, ~or fa ley~; ground water; water or other fluid used for the operation of air <br />cooling and ~ir ~onditioning equipment in plants or units, any gasoline, naphtha, <br />benzine, ke~ ose.~e, turpentine or any spirit gas or fluid, or any materials of an <br />explosive o~ sU?ocating nature, or that may possibly create combustible or <br />suffocating ~ase~ or vapors; waters having a PH lower than 5.5 or higher than 9.5 <br />or having~ a~y °~her corrosive property capable of causing damage to wastewater <br />facilitieS; n~ di,~charge or permit to be discharged directly or indirectly into said <br />sanitary s~Wer ~ystem any gravel, sand, dirt or any other heavy materials or any <br /> <br />substances. <br /> <br />MAm'TEN~NC,;E <br /> <br />Tl~e ~Ost of installing the sanitary sewer service line between the <br />bU~ldipg and main service stub shall be borne wholly by the property <br />0~ne~, After the initial connection to the main service stub, the <br />property owner shall thereafter be liable for all maintenance and <br />~,e~ai~s to his sanitary sewer service line between the street main and <br />th~ b~ilding being served. <br /> <br />N~ o~ner, agent, occupant or other person having charge of any <br />bU~ildi~g which is drained into any public sanitary sewer shall permit <br />amy s~bstance or matter which may form a deposit or obstruction in any <br />pt~licl sanitary sewer or drain, to flow into or pass into the same, and <br />Said a%vner, agent, occupant or other person as aforesaid, shall when <br />directed by the Council or its designated representative, within five days <br />'after .Ootice in writing to that effect, provide his drain with an approved <br />m~an~ to prevent any substance or matter from passing into the drain <br />or!sanitary sewer which may cause a deposit or obstruction therein. In <br />ca~e o~f neglect or refusal to provide a cesspool or catch basin, or to clean <br />ou~ or!repair or alter such drain, for the space of five days, the Council <br />or[its Idesignated representative shall cause the same to be repaired, <br />altered, cleaned and provided with such other means to prevent any <br />sU~st~rices or matter from passing into the sanitary sewer or drain that <br />may c~use a deposit or obstruction therein as they may deem expedient, <br />at ithel expense of the owner, agent, occupant, or other person having <br />ch~rg~ of the premises. <br /> <br />Page 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
