I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />rI <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />§ 2.07 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />rI <br />I <br /> <br />interpretat~n <br />application [the <br />appeal sl~a!l ~ <br /> <br />Printed 12/28190~, <br /> <br />A description of the type of building or structure and the <br />work to be performed for which permission to use alternate <br />materials or methods is requested. <br /> <br />A description of the use and occupancy of the building or <br />structure. <br /> <br />A citation to the controlling section or sections of the <br />Uniform Building Code which specify the materials or <br />methods for which alternates are requested. <br /> <br />A description of the alternate materials or methods of <br />construction proposed to be used. <br /> <br />If a test is required by the Building Official pursuant to <br />Sections 106 and 107 of the Building Code, a report from an <br />approved agency which has tested the proposed alternate <br />materials or methods of construction. Such report shall <br />include the findings, conclusions, and recommendations, if <br />any, of the approved agency. <br /> <br />The decision of the Building Official shall be in writing and <br />shall be served upon the applicant by mail. <br /> <br />An applicant who is dissatisfied <br />Building Official may thereupon <br />hereinafter provided. <br /> <br />with a decision of the <br />appeal to the Board as <br /> <br />Application for Interpretation of the B,,ilcli,g Code. Any person <br />who desires an interpretation of the Building Code shall first <br />submit a written request for an interpretation to the Building <br />Official. Such request shall include: <br /> <br />The name and address of the applicant, and if the applicant <br />is acting as agent for another, the name and address of the <br />person, firm or corporation for whom the applicant is agent. <br /> <br />A description of the type of building or structure and the <br />specific phase of the work to be performed which g~ves rise to <br />the request for an interpretation. <br /> <br />A citation to the section or sections of the Building Code for <br />which an interpretation is requested. <br /> <br /> An applicant who is dissatisfied with an interpretation of the <br /> Building Official may.thereupon appeal to the Board as <br /> hereinafter provided. <br />EL2. Appeals. Any person who is dissatisfied with an <br />decision of the Building Official rendered in response to an <br />:efore may appeal to the Board for its review and decision.
