Subdivision. Design Standards § 9.50.30 9.50.56 Subsurface conditions. The subdivider shall cause tests to be made of subsurface conditions to determine the nature and extent of subsurface soil, rock and water. The location and results of said tests shall be made available to the City. 9.50.57 Sidewalks and pedestrian ways. All sidewalks and pedestrian ways required by the City shall be constructed of a four inch concrete placed on a four inch (4") gravel base. Grades shall be as approved by the City Engineer. Sidewalks shall be placed in the public right-of-way one foot from the property line and shall be a width designated by the City. 9.50.57a58 Construction definition of trail ways. All accessible bikeway/walkway trailways shall be constructed of a minimum two inch (2") bituminous mat on a two inch (2") gravel base. Grades a n d specifications shall be as approved by the City Engineer. All paved traiiways shall be of an eight foot (8') width with two foot (2') graded shoulders, fill horse and wilderness trailways shall be graded to a minimum four fool (4') width and surfaced as determined bY the Park and Recreation Commission. 9.50.585 9 Public utilities. Subdivision i. In all residential zoned subdivisions, all telephone, electric and gas service lines shall be placed underground within dedicated public ways or recorded easements in such manner as not to conflict with other underground services. All underground installation of service lines within street right-of-ways shall be completed in a manner which will not disturb street surfacing. Upon completion of the installation of underground service lines in dedicated public ways, a tracing and two copies of plans and specifications showing the completed installation shall be filed with the Zoning Officer. Subd. 2. All utility poles, except those providing street lighting, shall be placed in rear lot line easements where feasible. Subd. 3. All underground utility service lines, including water, drainage and sanitary sewer systems which traverse private property, shall be installed within recorded easements. 9.50.~960 Trunk storm drainage assessments. In all drainage districts in which the City has instalied or is in the process of installing trunk drainage facilities, any Subdivision or resubdivision of any lot or parcel will not be permitted until the subdivider pays or agrees to pay the trunk storm drainage charge. The amount of the storm drainage charge shall be the City's cost of the storm drainage improvement plus an increased amount of inflationary costs as determined by the Construction Cost Index. The initial StO:Tn drainage improvement charge shall be set by a separate City Council resolution for eac?~ of the City's drainage districts.
