ARTICLE X. iNSURANCE <br /> <br /> The Employer agrees to pay the sum of Twenty One Dollars ($21.00) <br />per month to each employee as additiOnal compensation in lieu of providing <br />any health insurance benefits. <br /> <br />ARTICLE XI. HOLIDAYS <br /> <br />11.1 The following shall be included as paid holidays for employees <br /> subject to this agreement: <br /> <br />New Year's Day - January 1 <br />President's Day - Third Monday in February <br />Good Friday - Friday preceeding Easter <br />Memorial Day - Last Monday in May <br />Independence Day - July 4 <br />Labor Day - First Monday in September <br />Columbus Day - Second Monday in October <br />Veterans Day - November 11 <br />Thanksgiving Day - Fourth Thursday in November <br />Christmas Day - December 25 <br /> <br />11.2 <br /> <br />Employees shall be entitled to payment for holidays pursuant <br />to this Article provided they ar~ on compensated payroll status <br />the last workday preceding the holiday and the first workday <br />following the holiday. <br /> <br />11.3 <br /> <br />When a holiday as designated in this Article falls on Sunday, <br />the following day (Monday) shall be considered the official <br />holiday for employees or when such holidays fall on Saturday, <br />the preceding day (Friday) shall be considered the official <br />holiday for employees. <br /> <br />11.4 <br /> <br />Holidays which occur within an employees approved and compensated <br />vacation or sick leave period will not be chargeable to the <br />employee's vacation or sick leave time. <br /> <br />ARTICLE XII. SICK LEAVE <br /> <br />12.1 Full time employees shall earn sick leave at the rate of one day <br /> per month accumulatige to a maximum of 12 working days. <br /> <br />12.2 <br /> <br />An employee may utilize sick leave allowance on the basis of <br />application therefore approved by the Employer for absences necessitated <br />by the following: <br /> <br /> <br />
