Maintenance <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that this area is going to become a major traffic area, <br />semiphores have been planned for and widening of Cty. Road 116 has been <br />planned for a long time. <br /> <br />Mr. John Lichter - Stated that devaluation of surrounding properties will <br />not happen overnight -- it will be realized at the time of selling our <br />homes. This level of density will require additional levels of services. <br />There will be a lot more administrative problems. Homeo%~ers associations <br />are no guarantee that the area will be properly maintained; if we wanted <br />to live on Franklin and Cedar, we would have bought property there. Council <br />has to consider: 1. Will increased tax valuation pay for larger expenditures <br />of utilities, police, fire, etc. 2. Preparing a performa income statement <br />to determine return on municipal sewer in the City. 3. Thinking about <br />impact to existing residents -- how would you like this development in your <br />backyard? 4. Previous zoning in this area was one home/acre and t~e last <br />plan I saw was one home/l/3 acre. It is a little disappointing that I am <br />a member of Park and Rec and Charter Commission and I did not find cut about <br />this concept approval request until only one week before the me~tin~.
