Council Member <br /> <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A <br />PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, approximately 90 applications were received for the Public Works <br />Maintenance Worker position and seven individuals were interviewed for the position; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that Mr. Jeff Reimann be hired for the Public <br />Works Maintenance position. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Hire Jeff Reimann as a Public Works Maintenance Worker at an hourly wage of $16.03 <br />contingent upon satisfactory criminal background and reference checks, a pre~ <br />employment physical and a drug screen. Mr. Reimann will begin employment on March <br />24, 2004 and will be subject to a six-month probationary period. All other personnel <br />polices will apply normally. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 23rd day of March, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />
