I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Licensees shall maintain soll test data, system plans and other records and information as may be required by the administrator for the purpose of determ- ining compliance with this ordinance. Records relating to any system instal- ation or renovation shall be retained for a period of three years following completion of that activity, and copies of the same shall be transmitted to the plumbing inspector. Licensees shall make available all information, files and records, and other information required to be maintained to the admini- strator at any time on the transmission of a reasonable request relating .~ thereto. 150.016 MAINTENANCE 150.016A MUNICIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES ROUTINE CLEANING At the instruction of the plumbing inspector or his designated representative the owner shall pump his septic tank. Semi-annual~p- may be required as normal routine maintenance. A certificate of pumping and a pumping permit shall be required and can be obtained from the plumbing inspector. One copy of the pumping permit, containing the information_required on the pumping permit form shall be returned to the plumbing inspector and kept on file. For sys- tems equipped with a distribution and/or dosing box, the owner shall arrange for the opening of the box and removal of any settled solids therein at least once a year. At the time of cleaning, the plumbing inspector, his designated representative or the homeowner shall certify that scum and/or sludge levels have been reduced to acceptable levels. SCHEDULING AND NOTIFICATION The plumbing inspector or his designated representative shall maintain a de- tailed record of all routine cleaning and inspections and should notify the entire City semi-annually of the need for routine maintenance of their on- site systems. 150.016B INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES ACCESS It shall be the duty of the owner or occupant of the property to maintain all- seather access to the system and give free access to the proterty at reason- able times for the purpose of effecting scheduled maintenance as outlined in Chapter 150.016A. SYSTEM REPAIRS At such t~e that the om~er observes a malfunction of the system, the owner shall immediately notify the plumbing inspector of the problems. Required maintenance shall be arranged for by the owner to maintain pzoper system operation.
