I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Licensees shall maintain soll test data, system plans and other records and <br />information as may be required by the administrator for the purpose of determ- <br />ining compliance with this ordinance. Records relating to any system instal- <br />ation or renovation shall be retained for a period of three years following <br />completion of that activity, and copies of the same shall be transmitted to <br />the plumbing inspector. Licensees shall make available all information, files <br />and records, and other information required to be maintained to the admini- <br />strator at any time on the transmission of a reasonable request relating .~ <br />thereto. <br /> <br />150.016 MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />150.016A MUNICIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />ROUTINE CLEANING <br /> <br />At the instruction of the plumbing inspector or his designated representative <br />the owner shall pump his septic tank. Semi-annual~p- may be required as <br />normal routine maintenance. A certificate of pumping and a pumping permit <br />shall be required and can be obtained from the plumbing inspector. One copy <br />of the pumping permit, containing the information_required on the pumping permit <br />form shall be returned to the plumbing inspector and kept on file. For sys- <br />tems equipped with a distribution and/or dosing box, the owner shall arrange <br />for the opening of the box and removal of any settled solids therein at least <br />once a year. At the time of cleaning, the plumbing inspector, his designated <br />representative or the homeowner shall certify that scum and/or sludge levels have been <br />reduced to acceptable levels. <br /> SCHEDULING AND NOTIFICATION <br /> <br />The plumbing inspector or his designated representative shall maintain a de- <br />tailed record of all routine cleaning and inspections and should notify the <br />entire City semi-annually of the need for routine maintenance of their on- <br />site systems. <br /> <br />150.016B INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />ACCESS <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of the owner or occupant of the property to maintain all- <br />seather access to the system and give free access to the proterty at reason- <br />able times for the purpose of effecting scheduled maintenance as outlined in <br />Chapter 150.016A. <br /> <br />SYSTEM REPAIRS <br /> <br />At such t~e that the om~er observes a malfunction of the system, the owner <br />shall immediately notify the plumbing inspector of the problems. Required <br />maintenance shall be arranged for by the owner to maintain pzoper system <br />operation. <br /> <br /> <br />
