Thomas Creighton stated that the Commission <br />should not take a vote tonight to take any action. He pointed out that the <br />Commission could fine Group W any time during the 15 years if the Commission <br />feels that any of the conditions of the franchise were not met. Jerry Dulgar <br />also felt Group W made a real effort after the storm. John Beissel said <br />that he felt all the cities should be one commission, not four separate <br />commissions. Dan Hartman agreed with the effort put forth by Group W and <br />stated that he feels good with the cable system at this point. <br /> <br />Janet Fleming presented Group W's marketing techniques. She explained the <br />prices for the various services: $4.95 for a mini-basic service, $10.95 for <br />the basic service and that there is a 15% discount for senior citizens and <br />handicapped individuals if they are the head of the household. She also <br />explained different packages that are available. <br /> <br />Thomas Creighton explained that all the rates must be in the franchise and <br />that the cable guide and remote control are not. Therefore, the franchise <br />will have to be changed. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
