Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION %83-135 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRICE QUOTES AND AWARDING BID FOR AG~CULTURAL LIME <br />FOR BALLFIELDS AT CENTRAL PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuit to call for price quotes for a agricultural lime <br />for the ballfields at Central Park the following price quotes were received: <br /> <br /> Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> <br /> Byran Rock Products, Inc. $11,097.60 <br /> J. L. Shiely Company $10,585.60 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that J. L. Shiely Company bid in the amount <br />of $10,585.60 had the best price quote. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council accepted the price quote from J. L. Shiely <br />Company in the amount of $10,585.60. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to inform all who submitted price quotes of their action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br /> Reimann <br /> <br />and the following members voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 23rd day of August, 1983. <br /> <br /> <br />
