Mrs. Haas, Mr. Gamec, Mr. Halsey, Mr. <br />McFarland and Chairman Kordiak voted "yes". Notion carried and the resolution <br />was declared adopted. <br /> <br />Mr. Gamec moved to authorize the Landfill Board to contract with Anoka County <br />for administration of the methane gas extraction project through construction, and <br />to appoint Tim Yantos, Anoka County Assistant Administrator, as pro}ect manager, <br />at ~o cost to the Landfill Board. Mr. Halsey seonded the motion. Mrs. Haas, Mr. <br />Gamec, Mr. Halsey, Mr. McFarland and Chairm~n Kordiak all voted "yes". Notion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Mr. McFarland wved }o desi~nate Anoka County as the depository of I~andfill Board <br />funds, to contra_ct for use of Anoka County's accounting services and to ~tilize <br />the County's accounti~.g procedures and fiscal policies. Natalie Haas seconded the <br />motion. Mrs. Haas, Mr. Gamec, Mrs. Halsey, Mr. McFarland and Chairman Kordiak all <br />voted ~yes". Motion carried. <br /> <br />Tim Yantos, Anoka County Assistant Administrator, gave the Landfill Board a report <br />which included the attached "Methane Gas Project Status Report', Methane Gas Pro- <br />ject Schedule for Completion" dated 7/25/83, and a review of the powers and duties <br />and funding sources of the Landfill Board under the Joint Powers Agreement. Mrs. <br />Haas asked the County Attorney's Office to render an opinion as to whether the Lan~- <br />fill Board may borrow additional funds for the project. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Ramsey Landfill Board <br /> <br />By. <br /> <br />AlbertA.
