Upon completion of the plant and prior to initial operation, the Department shall <br /> be notified to allow personnel of the Department to inspect the plant both prior <br /> to ~d during the performance tests. <br /> <br /> P. Performance tests of the plant may be required by the County Board. A report <br /> covering the results of the performance tests in suc~ cases shall be prepared by <br /> the design engineer of the project and submitted to the County Board with a <br /> copy of all supporting data. <br /> <br /> Subsection I. A license shall first be obtained from the County Bored to construct, <br />establish, maintain or operate a transfer station. <br /> <br /> Subsection 2. The following shall be established c~d maintained at the transfer station <br />site. <br /> <br />A. A sign, subject to the approval of the Department, shall be posted on the <br /> premises indicating the station name, the schedule of days and hours it is ope~ to <br /> the public, and the price~ for use. <br /> <br />B. Roods an the premises =J~all be all-weather surfoced. The premises shall be <br /> constructed and landscaped in such a manner as to be oesthetically pleasing in <br /> appearance. <br /> <br />C. Adequate sanitary facilities m~d s~elter for personnel shall be provided on the <br /> premises. <br /> <br />D. Records approved by the Department shall be maintained indicating the type and <br /> quantity of solid waste Ix~sing through the transfer station. <br /> <br />E. The transfer station sl~ll be so situ~tecl, equipped, operated, ~ maintained as <br /> to minimize interference with other activities in the area. <br /> <br /> Subsection 3. A transfer station licensee s~all comply with the following regulations: <br /> <br />A. When stated in and as a part of the license, the licensee stroll take away all solid <br /> waste, wash, clean and disinfect the station at the end of eac~ ckry of use. <br /> <br />B. The premises, entrances ~ exits shall be maintained in a cleans neat and <br /> orderly manner at all times. <br /> <br />C. All incoming and outgoing traffic shall be controlled by the licensee in such a <br /> manner as to provide orderly and safe ingress and egress. <br /> <br />D. All unloading of solid waste from ca~tributing vehicles shall be conducted in such <br /> a manner es to eliminate odor and litter outside the station. <br /> <br /> <br />
