Inc. <br /> <br />Fred Hoisington- Project Manager/Senior Land Use Planner - Hoisington <br />Group, Inc., Martin Kitts - Real Estate Consultant - Mitch Wonson - Traffic <br />Consultant - Benshoof, were present. <br /> <br />Mr. Hoisington stated that Hoisington is a smaller firm with most of their <br />work being done in the metro area. Hoisington would design a unique team <br />with the capabilities to do Ramsey's particular project and produce <br />results. Hoisington's policy is to communicate with people, produce <br />practial solutions, build relationships with clients and make <br />recommendations. Mr. Hoisington stated that he understands that Ramsey is <br />concerned with balancing the tax base; improving image, quality of <br />develot~nent and transportation; absorption rates; and utilities; <br /> <br />Hoisington's approach to the study is in 3 steps: 1) Analyze the <br />situation; 2) Plan formulation; 3) Implementation recommendations. <br />Hoisington has experience on similar projects in Champlin, Chanhassen and <br />Shakopee. The process of public information meetings in Hoisington's <br />process approach generates public support for the ultimate plans that are <br />recommended and adopted. <br /> <br />Mitch Wonson stated that Benshoof's role will be the transportation aspect <br />of the study which includes analysis of existing and potential conditions <br />identifying constraints and opportunities of existing and future <br />transportations systems. Benshoof's report will analyze what is needed and <br />provide ideas for implementation.
