-Ryland revised the landscape plan by adding additional landscaping along Highway 10.
Open space was placed between H/ghway 10 and the buildings, providing greater
sc-pm'afion.

Sound Transmission Coefficient (STC) windows: The building elevations that face
Highway 10 will be insulated fi.om sound with STC 30 windows. The STC rated windows
and the insulation t/mt we normally provide in the walls will provide adequate' noise
mitigation for the interior of the home.

-Also the developer would incorporate a combination of fencing and landscaping. The
fencing would be Incorporated into the ex3st/ng landscape plan in areas where there is not
room for additional plantings: Alternatively, additional plantings would be installed where
there is adequate space instead of the fence. This would be a 6' tall ~va:e and would not
extend into the commercial area.

Rivenwick has been thoughtfully designed to meet the City's goal of providing a mixed-use
development that minimizes negative impacxs form Highway 10 corridor. We believe that
Rivenw/ck w/Il be a very successful project that will'enhance the character of the Highway 10
Corridor and benefit the City with well built homes .in an attractively designed City.

Dave Schul.te
Turtle Moon Inc.

Cc: Brian Sullivan.
