City Attorney's Report On Landfill Lawsuit And Landfill Impact <br />Report): <br /> <br />a) City Engineer's Report dated February 4, 1983 on Laboratory Analysis on <br /> the Monitoring Wells - Council noted. <br /> <br />b) Landfill Inspection Reports - Council noted. <br /> <br />c) Director of Environmental Services' Letter dated February 1, 1983 - Council <br /> noted. <br /> <br />d) City Attorney's Reports regarding Landfill - <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich informed Council that the County has reviewed the <br />Landfill Impact Report and basically., they are accepting Ramsey's <br />recommendations except that portion regarding the County owning the <br />landfill sites. City Attorney also commented that Natalie Haas has taken <br />a real interest in the matter and the meeting was fairly positive. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Ramsey's main concern is to obtain proper <br />legislation and possibly Site P will not be approved. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that Ramsey is the only city in the State <br />that has industrial/commercial land being utilized for a landfill. <br /> <br />Case #12: <br /> <br />Miscellaneous: (A. Letter From City Of Blaine Dated February 9, <br />t983 Re~ardin~ Proposed Racin~ Facility: B. City A~rney's <br />Memo Dated February 14, 1983 Rpgardin9 Federal Ca?tri_dge CorP°ra- <br />tion Park Land~: <br /> <br />a) Racing Facility - City of Blaine - <br /> <br />Council consensus is not to pledge the City's CDBG funds toward this <br />project. <br /> <br />b) Federal Cartridge Park Lane - <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich reported that Federal Cartridge requests a <br />ceremony type affair for the turning over of the deed to'donated <br />park land. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested a reception at Ramsey Municipal Center.
