Case #8: Surface Water Management: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Resolution #83-23 authorizing the City of Ramsey to enter into a joint <br />powers agreement regarding Surface Water Management with Burns Township, <br />Oakgrove, East Bethel, Anoka, St. Francis, Ham Lake, Andover and possibly <br />Coon Rapids and further to appoint Councilmember A1 Sorteberg to serve as <br />Ramsey's representative on this Surface Water Management. (Please refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution #83-23). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Meeting <br />With Metro Council Staff Personnel Regarding Study Done B~ The <br />City Of Ramsey): <br /> <br />a) Landfill Inspection Reports - Council noted. <br /> <br />b) Well Monitoring Report For February 3, 1983 - Council noted. <br /> <br />c) Waste Management Board's Increase In Disposal Dumping Fees - Council <br /> noted. <br /> <br />d) City Attorney's Report Regarding Meeting With County Board - Council noted. <br /> <br />e) Meeting With Metro Council Staff Personnel Regarding Study Done By The <br /> City of Ramsey - Council noted. <br /> <br />Case #10: Hazardous Waste: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution #83w21 stating that due to economic conditions, structure <br />of businesses and the fact that no petition has been received by the City, <br />the sewer connection proposed on State Hwy. #10 is being delayed and will <br />not be extended as projected. Further, that a copy of said resolution be <br />forwarded to the Hazardous Waste Management Board. (Refer to resolution <br />file for Resolution #83-21). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Sortebergo Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #11: Request For The Subdividing of Lots In Oakridge Estates; Case Of <br /> <br />Mr. Joe Sentyrz: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the computer study performed shows that the City <br />does come out ahead regarding vacant lots versus developed lots, that <br />vacant lots are not a burden to the City based on taxes gained from those <br />lots. Refer to Page 19 , Paragraph 6 , for further action taken. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #9: Group W Cable's Request To Amend Conditional Use Permit: <br /> <br />Rita Hoeschen - 6820 164th Lane NW - Stated that she has verified with City <br />Staff that that 3 property owners within the 350' affected area radius, did <br />not receive notices of public hearing. <br /> <br />C/March 22, 1983 <br /> Page 17 of 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
