Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #13: S~S On Researching Proposed Snowmobile Ordinance: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris reported that discussion of a snowmobile ordinance is on the <br />Park and Recreation Commission meeting agenda for Thursday, January 14, <br />1988. Members of Ramsey's Snowmobile Club will be invited to attend that <br />meeting and provide comments. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted receipt of a letter from Thomas Williams requesting <br />stricter snowmobile regulations in Ramsey; residents of River's Bend say <br />that the police have informed them that part of their front yards are city <br />property, snowmobiles can drive on city property and the property owner is <br />liable for placing obstructions on that city property. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that snowmobiles are allowed to ride on the road right- <br />of-way. <br /> <br />Refer to page 13 for further discussion. <br /> <br />C~se #9: Consider Resolution Supporting CORONA (Continued); <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich read the proposed resolution to support legislation proposed <br />by Corona. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Resolution #88-7 requesting that State legislature adopt proposed <br />legislation to indemnify local units of government from land use <br />regulations imposed by other governmental agencies. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #88-7). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuc a and Pearson.
