Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers $orteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />~ase #23: Report From Personnel Committee: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that the employees would like to enroll in a dental <br />insurance plan that requires the endorsement and a $60.00 annual fee of the <br />employer. The Personnel Committee recommends approval of the request <br />contingent upon the employees reimbursing the $60 administrative fee to the <br />City. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmsmber Sorteberg to <br />approve of the Denticare plan being available to City of Ramsey employees <br />contingent upon the employees being responsible for the $60 annual <br />administrative fee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmeng~er COx. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimannstated that the Personnel Committee interviewed the 3 top <br />applicants for the Public Works Department and recommends offering <br />employment to Gregory Talbot. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />authorize offering permanent full-time employment in the Public Works <br />Department to Mr. Gregory Talbot at a starting wage of $7.98/hour and a 6 <br />month probationary period. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember COx. <br /> <br />C~se #24: Requ_ est For Metes And Bounds Subdivision.Of Lot 4. Block ~_~ <br /> Voltin's Oak Hill Estates: Case Of Mr. Dale Voltin: <br /> <br />Mr..Goodrich stated that at the time Voltin's Oak Hill Estates was platted, <br />the developer entered into anagreement to not split Lot 4, Block 1 until <br />a southerly access was provided. Mr. Jon Rambosek has purchased and <br />developed the northern portion of Lot 4 and it cannot be recorded unless <br />the City approves the lot split. Mr. Goodrich stated that both properties, <br />particularly the southern portion of Lot 4, are coming before the City <br />Council as part of a plat in the very near future; that plat includes <br />streets into this area. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve of a metes and bounds subdivision of Lot 4, Block 1, Voltin's Oak <br />Hill Estates, contingent upon the following: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Mr. David Schulte agreeing to provide a 66 foot wide road easement <br />to the City extending from 160th Lane N.W. to the southern portion <br />of Lot 4; <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />That no building permits shall be issued until the road is <br />accepted bythe City as a City road. <br /> City Council/March 22, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 15 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
