DALE WIRZ <br /> By: Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Dale Wirz is requesting a conditional use permit to operate a retail <br />business from his nursery in the R-IR Residential District on his property <br />at 17201 St. Francis Blvd. NW. Mr. Wirz is proposing to operate the retail <br />business from the west 4-1/2 acres of this parcel. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information are the following items: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Public hearing notice <br />d) Properties notified <br />e) Proposed findings of fact <br />f) Proposed conditional use permit agreement <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Mr. Wirz is currently constructing a pole building on this property to be used <br />for agricultural purposes. According to Section 170.012 of the City Code, <br />agricultural uses include tree, plant, shrub and flower nurseries. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Mr. Wirz's <br />request on October 7, 1986. The Commission adopted findings of fact and <br />recommended approval of Mr. Wirz's conditional use permit.
