CASE #2 <br /> <br />PURCHASE OF TOOL BOX AND FUEL TANK FOR PUBLIC WORKS PICK-UP <br /> By: Merle Mevissen, Public Works Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />In the 1993 Capital Budget. $840 was appropriated for the purchase of a fuel tank and tool box for <br />a Public Works pick-up. The fuel tank is necessary to haul fuel to me graders and loader during <br />plowing operations that take longer than the normal eight hour shift. The other alternative is to <br />drive the equipment back to the shop to fuel up, which is time consuming. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The equipment prices are as follows: <br /> <br />Weatherguard Mod. 354 Tank: $326.00 <br />Weatherguard Mod. R116 Saddle Box: $380,00 <br /> $706.00 <br />6.5% Sales Tax $ 45,89 <br /> TOTAL: $751.89 <br /> <br />Recommendaftons: <br /> <br />As the price for these two items does not vary by vendor.
