Contemplated is a tot-lot and baltfield development. This <br />neighborhood park will become increasingly important as this neighborhood develops and as <br />Trunk Highway 4t47 and County Road #5 become increasingly important arterials. <br /> <br />Project - Prairie District Year ERn.diltg <br />Sunny Ponds Park 1994 $ 28,000 - Park Trust <br /> <br />28,0OO <br /> <br />Project #6 - The Oxbow District <br /> <br />Included in the Oxbow district are two sidewalk and trail developments currently projected for <br />1993, concurrent with subdivision improvements. The fn-st is entitled the River's Bend sidewalk, <br />paid for by approximately $13,000 in MSA funds providing for an off-road sidewalk along XkSmo <br />Street N.W. to 142nd Avenue N.W. and then from the intersection of Trunk Highway ~47 and <br />142nd Avenue N.W. east to the River's Bend Park, providing for a safe pedestrian way in this <br />commercial area adjacent to residential and park uses. The second is the development of the Amber <br />Ridge/Juniper Woods trail that will occur concurrent with the Amber Ridge subdivision which will <br />provide for a safe pedestrian way for thc Stanhope Ten'ace, River's Bluff, Rnm Acres, Juniper <br />Woods, Gorham Sandy Acres and Amber Ridge neighborhoods to access thc River's Bend Park. <br />It will also provide completion of the pedestrian way'from 142nd Avenue N.W. to 150th Avenue <br />N.W. along Trunk Highway g47. <br /> <br /> <br />
