Contemplated is a tot-lot and baltfield development. This neighborhood park will become increasingly important as this neighborhood develops and as Trunk Highway 4t47 and County Road #5 become increasingly important arterials. Project - Prairie District Year ERn.diltg Sunny Ponds Park 1994 $ 28,000 - Park Trust 28,0OO Project #6 - The Oxbow District Included in the Oxbow district are two sidewalk and trail developments currently projected for 1993, concurrent with subdivision improvements. The fn-st is entitled the River's Bend sidewalk, paid for by approximately $13,000 in MSA funds providing for an off-road sidewalk along XkSmo Street N.W. to 142nd Avenue N.W. and then from the intersection of Trunk Highway ~47 and 142nd Avenue N.W. east to the River's Bend Park, providing for a safe pedestrian way in this commercial area adjacent to residential and park uses. The second is the development of the Amber Ridge/Juniper Woods trail that will occur concurrent with the Amber Ridge subdivision which will provide for a safe pedestrian way for thc Stanhope Ten'ace, River's Bluff, Rnm Acres, Juniper Woods, Gorham Sandy Acres and Amber Ridge neighborhoods to access thc River's Bend Park. It will also provide completion of the pedestrian way'from 142nd Avenue N.W. to 150th Avenue N.W. along Trunk Highway g47.
