2.01.06 Ordinances. Resolutions. Motions. Petitions and Communications. Subd. 1. Writing Requirement. Every ordinance and resolution passed by the council shall be signed by the mayor, attested by the Clerk. and filed in the ordinance or resolution book. Proof of publication of every ordinance shall be attached to and filed with the ordinance. Subd. 3. Repeal of Previous Ordinance and Resolution. Everv ordinance or resolution repealing a previous CIty Code provision or resolution or section thereof shall give the number. if any, and rhe title of the City Code provision or resolution to be repealed in whole or in pan. No Ciry Code provision or resolution or section thereof shall be amended by reference to the title alone. but such amending ordinance or resolution shall ser fonh in full each section to be amended. 2.01.07 Committees. The council may creare such committees. standing or special. as it deems necessary. Such committees shall consist of as many members and perform such duties as the council may require. 2.01.08 Suspension or amending of the rules. These rules. or any of them. may be remoorariJv susoended bv a ma;oritv vore of all of the council members and shall not be reoealed or amended except by a majorit~. vote of rhe whole council after notice has been given. at some preceding council meeting. 2.01.09 Salaries. Subd. 1. Mayor. The salary of rhe Mayor of the City of Ramsey shall be S500 per month ($6.000 per year). Subd. 2. City CounciL The salarv of each Council member of the City of Ramsey shall be $375 per mon"th ($4.500 per year). . 2.02 Economic Development Authority 1..01..01 Establishment. The EDA shaIl be governed bv a board of coinmissioners consisnng of the five rriemb~s of the Ciry Council. and the teI'Ir. of each commission of the EDA shall coincide with that commissioner s tenn of office as a member of the City Council.
