Protection Element <br /> <br />Compare existing Shoreland Management Ordinance to revised State rules to identify areas <br />of deficiency and draft a revision to said ordinance accordingly. Subsequent to revising the <br />Shoreland Management Ordinance, review and draft revisions, as necessary, to the text in <br />the Protection Element of the Comprehensive Plan. In addition, the consultant will prepare <br />an updated environmental overlay map of shorelands, wetlands, flood plains, and critical <br />and scenic river corridors for submittal to the Metropolitan Council and Department of <br />Natural Resources. (See attached grant agreement.) <br /> <br />The consultants shall also be responsible for providing the City with the final text on computer <br />diskettes in a format compatible with the City's system. All maps required shall be provided in <br />reproducible 1,000 scale and 11 x 17 reduction. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey has available to the consultant the following information: <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan (1980) <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendments (1990 and 1992) <br />Current Zoning Map <br />Current Zoning Ordinance <br />Current Transportation Plan and update within 1990 Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />Highway #10 Corridor Study <br />Anoka County 2010 Transportation Plan <br />Current Shoreland Management Ordinance <br />State model shoreland ordinance <br /> <br />Most of the documents listed above are quite substantial and due to the limited number of copies <br />available, we respectfully request that perspective bidders make arrangements with Sylvia Frolik <br />(427-1410) to review these documents at the Ramsey Municipal Center. Upon request, copies of <br />the documents, or portions thereof, will then be provided within a reasonable time frame. A <br />$25.00 deposit will be required for copies of documents in their entirety. <br /> <br />SECTION III: PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS AND PROJECT COSTS <br /> <br />The proposal should include: <br /> <br />1. Scope of work. <br /> <br />2. Methodology of study. <br /> <br />3. Provisions proposed for public input. <br /> <br />4. Provisions proposed for coordination with any outside agencies. <br /> <br />Estimated number of meetings with advis°ry boards, City Staff, City Council, <br />public and outside agencies to accomplish each element to final product.* <br /> <br />Description of final product. <br /> <br />7. Time table for completion of task. <br /> <br />Cost of work including the estimated number of hours by employee classification <br />(professional, technical, clerical, etc.) for each subtask and their respective hourly <br />rates. Note that this cost is to be exclusive of meetings.
