SECTION IV: RFP TERMS There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City of Ramsey to reimburse responding fh-ms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. For the benefit of perspective bidders, the projects will be reviewed at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 2I, 1993, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey. Any additional inquiries concerning the request for proposals should be directed to City Administrator Ryan Schroeder or City Engineer Steven Jankowski. The City has received outside funding for facets of the above work plan. The Land Use element will be completed using approximately $11,000.00 in Anoka County Community Development Block Grant funding. The State Department of Natural Resources has provided a grant of up to 50% of Shoreland Ordinance expenses, not to exceed $5,000.00 (see attached grant agreement). All other project funding is anticipated as a general fund expense. Proposers have the option to submit proposals for one or more of the three planning tasks described in this RFP. To be considered, three (3) copies of a proposal must be received by City Administrator Ryan Schroeder at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 12, t993. During the evaluation process, the City of Ramsey reserves the right, where it may serve the City of Ramsey's best interest, to request additional information or clarification from proposes, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions. At the discretion of the City of Ramqey, firms submitting proposals may be requested to make oral presentations as part of the evaluation process. It is anticipated the selection of a firm will be completed by July 27, 1993. Following the notification of the selected firm, it is expected a contract will be executed between both parties by August 3, 1993. The City of Rarn.qey reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and to use any ideas in a proposal regardless of whether that proposal is selected. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the fu'm of the conditions contained in this request for proposals, unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted and conf'u'rned in the contract between the City of Ramsey and the fn'm selected. 132.
