One (1) on premise menu board per drive-up or walk-up lane of a drive-in <br />restaurant up to a maximum of thirty-two (32) square feet each. Menu boards are allowed a <br />message on one side only and cannot contain an advertising message. <br /> <br />g) Directional Signs. <br /> <br />Directional or Instructional signs are permitted in accordance with Section <br />9.12.03 subd. 9. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Parking lot directional signs designating parking area entrances and exits are <br />limited to one sign for each-entrance and/or exit and shall not exceed four <br />square feet for each exposed face. Parking lot directional signs shall not <br />project higher than five (5) feet in height, as measured from the established <br />grade of the parking area to which such signs are accessory. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />Parking lot instructional signs designating the conditions of use or identify <br />of parking areas shall not exceed 8 square feet and shall not project higher <br />than ten (10) feet in height for wall signs and seven (7) feet in height for <br />ground signs, as measured from the established grade of the parking area(s) <br />to which such signs are accessory. <br /> <br />Window signs are restricted to 30% of the area of the window in which the <br />sign is to be displayed. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 Shopping Center Signs <br /> <br />In accordance with Ramsey City Code Section 9.03.06 (Site Plan Review), Subdivision 1 <br />(Required Site Plan/Building Design Information, item 'c' (Signs), the developer shall submit a <br />sign plan for approval, drawn to scale with elevations, at the time application is made for site plan <br />approval. The sign plan shall include but not be limited to the following information: number of <br />signs, type of signs, sign sizes, type of construction materials, sign messages, and proposed sign <br />locations. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 Advertising Signs (aka billboards) <br /> <br />Advertising signs shall only be allowed in the B-3 Highway Business District subject to the <br />following requirements: <br /> <br />ao <br /> <br />Advertising signs are prohibited within one hundred (100) feet of the intersection of the <br />Highway right-of-way and any other fight-of-way or driveway. <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />Advertising signs are prohibited within one-thousand two hundred (1200) feet of another <br />advertising sign on the same side of the fight-of-way. <br /> <br />Page 11 of 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
