Co~m¢ilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #93-I1: ..... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL THE PROPOSED <br />PLAN AMENDMENT DATED OCTOBER 20, 1993. <br /> <br />THE SUBMITTAL TO THE <br />MAJOR COMPREHENSIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is required to develop a comprehensive plan for the <br />future planning and development of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has completed a Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment expanding <br />the MUSA to include Urban Reserve Area of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on November 4, 1993 <br />to receive input concerning the proposed amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the submittal of the proposed <br />amendment. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />I) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Staff is authorized to submit the proposed comprehensive plan amendment to <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby directed to meet with the Metropolitan Council Staff to <br />acquire the ability to expand the MUSA and gain approval of the comprehensive plan <br />amendment. <br /> <br />That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mem:~potitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duty seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon smd resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey Ciu, Council this <br />the 9th day of November 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />
