l~ro_iect - Lake Itasca District Year F. llll.dillg
Forest Hideaway !999 $ 20,000 - LFi'

$ 20,00O

Project #16 - Greenland Hills, Lake Itasca or Mississippi District

It is contemplated that by the end of the century it is reasonable to expect additional development
west of Ramsey Boulevard and northeast of Bowers Drive. Given other projected development
this part of Ramsey any park in the area should include tennis courts, picnic areas and a
playground. It could also serve as a trail head for the Mississippi and Itasca trail corridors.

l~ro_iect - Greenland Hills.
Lake Itasca or Mississippi

West Ramsey Neighborhood Parks

1999 N/A - Park Trust Fund

N/A

UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS

At the beginning of 1993, the utilities system has approximately 400 connections. We currently
have one elevated storage tank located north of Flintwood Hills at the intersection of Dysprosium
Street N.W. and County Road #5 and two municipal wells just east of Trunk Highway g47 and
south of 142nd Avenue N.W. We are beginning to experience peak usages reaching levels
approaching our pumping capacity. With continued growth, it is projected that we should begin
planning for an additional well and an additional storage tank located west of the existing facilities.
Although additional study is required, this Capital Improvements Program currently projects the
third well in 1995 and the second elevated storage tank in 1998. Because of the present limited
customer base, it is proposed that the well be funded out of existing and future Tax Increment
revenues, but that if the storage tank can be delayed until 1998, that expenditure be funded out of
connection and user charges.

Pro_iect.
