Commissioner Holm stated that not <br />being able to enforce stricter standards than the state is undetermined at <br />this point and his motion stands. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Shumway, Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner <br />Howel 1. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to add <br />the foll~ing condition to the propose~ conditional use permit: <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />5]]at no hazardous waste, as defined by the U.S. EPA, MPCA or the <br />City of Ramsey, should they adopt standards, shall be burned at <br />the facility. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioner <br />Howel 1. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Chairman Z immerman to add the <br />following condition to the proposed conditional use permit: <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />The maximum amount of solid as well as liquid waste Atlas <br />Incinerators, Inc. will be allowed to burn is 18 tons per 24 hour <br />period 7 days a week until January 1, 1991 and thereafter~ a <br />maximum of 38 tons per 24 hour period 7 days a week. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zinm~rman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Shumway, Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner <br />Howel 1. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to add the <br />following condition to the proposed conditional use permit: <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />~1 ash from the contract burn/research and develolm~ent facility <br />shall be r~oved from the site on a regular basis (once a week), <br />not be stockpiled on the property, and be deposited in an out-of- <br />state U.S. EPA approved landfill. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Shumway, Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner <br />Howell. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
