Ca~e #1: Request For Rezoning From I-1 Industrial To B-1 Business; <br /> Case Of Mr. Jori Albinson: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to table <br />action on Mr. Albinson's request for rezoning until City Staff has prepared <br />findings of fact or it is determined 'by the City Attorney that findings are <br />not required in this case. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway <br />and Howell. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request For A Conditional Use PErmit TO Have An Advertising <br /> Sign; Case Of Mr. John Noard: <br /> <br />Mr. Noard was present requesting a conditional use permit to have an <br />advertising sign at his new business location. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />The Commission amended Item #6 to indicate that the applicant is requesting <br />to construct a 300 square foot advertising sign. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Holm to recommend <br />that City Council adopt the proposed findings of fact, as amended, relating <br />to Mr. Noard's request for a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Terry noted that Items 12 and 13 in the <br />findings should refer to a conditional use permit and not a variance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway <br />and Howell. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend that City Council approve Mr. John N oard's request for a <br />conditional use permit to construct an advertising sign with Item #1 of the <br />permit amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1. The advertising sign shall not exceed 350 square feet. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway <br />and Howell. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of Windemere Woods; <br /> Case Of Mr. Dick Carson: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto reviewed with the Commission the City Engineer's report dated <br /> Planning & Zoning Commission/September 14, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 5 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
